I've just installed Debian on an old laptop, and I've installed Emacs
21.2.1 on it. The laptop has the Alt/Meta key where I would like to
the Control key to be. Is there a way to swap the two of them? Can
keyboard-translate do this? If so, I can't seem to get it working.

Thanks!

Thanks. Does anyone know of an Emacs solution? I'd prefer that if it
exists, and something like loadkeys otherwise.

The loadkeys man page has an example.

Alex.
