1:I want to summary sort article in reverse order of the date whenever
I come in. how to set this?

2:each time I reopen the group, all the article set to unread. how to
let gnus remember if the article has been read?

add this line in .gnus.el

(setq gnus-thread-sort-functions
      '((not gnus-thread-sort-by-date)
        (not gnus-thread-sort-by-number)))

In summary buffer type 'c' to invoke the command
 "gnus-summary-catchup-and-exit".
