Hi all,

Does anybody know how can i configure emacs in order to set the default
printer to "someprinter".
I looked into the /etc/printers file of my computer and i find this ::

     larceny:\
        :bsdaddr=rash.info.uqam.ca,larceny:\
        :description=Imprimante dans LARC:

Any help will be very appreciate.
 Thanks in advance,

 kevin

The variable `printer-name' is what you want, I think.

However, I'd expect that a Unix or GNU/Linux system should already
know what's its default printer, and in particular, the printer
spooler program such as `lpr' or `lp' is expected to send the stuff to
that default printer without your having to care about it. So I'm
unsure why do you need to set up Emacs for a specific printer.
