I was sure that emacs should have something about databases and I searched many times about it on the internet but never found anything useful. It's somewhat hidden in the myriad of emacs packages. I will take a look, of course, however I'm afraid that I still won't find what I ask at the moment. Edb seems more a standalone database but I want to have some tool to connect to or import from other data sources, especially relational DBMS-es, excel, MS Access, etc. Thank you for suggestion. Maks.
