I switched to w3m today and am very pleased with the speed of
it. However I can't see to get the package configured correctly. The
package I'm using is emacs-w3m-1.3.3 (my w3m version is 1.10-tb2).
If I do M-x w3m, I get the about page. If I then do M-x w3m-goto-url
nothing happens. In the messages I get the following for example:
w3m-input-url: Quit
Reading http://www.google.com...done
Cannot retrieve URL: http://www.google.com (exit status: 1)
If I go to the shell and type "w3m http://www.google.com" it works
fine. So I'm not sure what's going on.
I looked through some of the customization options for w3m and nothing
stood out as glaringly wrong.
I'd love to get this working as I've had a lot of problems with w3.
Any tips, suggestions, or maybe relevant sections of .emacs concerning
w3m from those running on windows?
TIA.

The problem was an outdated version of w3m. Everything works fine now.
