Subject: tool-bar and maximum window height

Message-ID: <slrngfehap.8rp.bruce@lorien.untroubled.org> (raw)

Hi.

With the tool bar turned on by default, requesting a full height window
works as expected. After using the customize feature to turn off the
tool bar, it is impossible to get a full height window on startup, using
either the -fh or -geometry options.

Also, while the tool bar takes up (on my setup) 3 lines of screen space,
with the tool bar turned off the maximum startup window size is 6 lines
short of full height.

I am using GNU emacs 22.3 on Gentoo Linux.

Any suggestions how to fix this problem?

Thanks.
