Thanks, I have this: (recentf-mode 1) (setq recentf-save-file "~/.Emacs/.recentfiles" recentf-max-menu-items 18 recentf-menu-filter 'recentf-show-basenames-ascending) (load recentf-save-file) ... and it works perfectly.
