When i look at the rmail summary, sometimes i delete
messages by typing d (which is bound to rmail-summary-delete-forwards).

This has the side effect of displaying (in another window) the next
message.

I would like to show only the summary window, and delete forwards
without seeing the next message (because i may know just from the
subject line or sender that i don't want to see the next message
at all).

How can i do this? That is, how can i tell rmail not to
automatically display the next message when i do
rmail-summary-delete-forwards?

Thanks in advance for any info.

dan
