Subject: multiline regex mode?
Date: Mon, 09 Oct 2006 13:57:38 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <m3u02dir3x.fsf@ukdev-lin-grc.ukdev.eu.tandberg.int> (raw)

Is it possible to have .* match over a new line?

I'd like to be able to match

{foo}

and

{
   foo
}

with a regex of the form {.*} without having to specify the line
break.

Thanks
