Is there a way to "switch on" the header-line feature (I am using 21.2
and 21.3 Emacsen) when editing perl in cperl-mode? Is there something
the current buffer mode must provide for that?
I only recently saw this while in a Makefile or a C++ file.
Thanks,
Ekkehard

| header-line-format's value is nil
|
| Documentation:
| Analogous to `mode-line-format', but for the mode line that can be
| displayed at the top of a window.
