For that problem of using latin-9 chars when printing, i have found a
setting that helped much :

(setq ps-mule-font-info-database-default
      '((latin-iso8859-15 (normal nil nil iso-latin-9))
	    (latin-iso8859-1 (normal nil nil iso-latin-1))))

I am by default in latin-9 (although I am currently with OSX) and at
least the € is printed correctly. Printer is PS compatible too
(HP LaserJet).
