In auctex I want \minisec{...} to be fontified like \paragraph or
\subsubsection. So I tried to customize the variable
font-latex-match-sectioning-5-keywords
where I added the keyword minisec and the format "*{". But this didn't
help.

Any hints?

TIA

If you activated parsing as described on the first page of the AUCTeX
manual it would automatically be fontified as a section.
