On my machine:
ELISP> (symbol-plist 'command-line-processed)
(variable-documentation 1868652)
I'm trying to find what this number means. I have searched
`variable-documentation' and `symbol-plist' in manuals and archives, and
I have seen my `DOC-24.3.50.1' file, but I still don't understand. Can
anyone point me in the right direction?

Probably the offset in the DOC file to extract the doc-string.

Maybe. It seems that `Snarf-documentation' is related to this number,
but I haven't figured out the principle yet.
