I have the following files:
prompt$ ls -1 /tmp/trace*
/tmp/trace2.txt
/tmp/trace.txt
prompt$

Now I do:
M-x partial-completion-mode
then:
C-x C-f /tmp/trace.<TAB>
emacs correctly resolves it to:
C-x C-f /tmp/trace.txt
                  ^
but leaves |
cursor here-------+
instead of at the end of line.

Is it some defect of partial completion mode?

Best regards,
Michal
