I am currently doinking with eshell, and would like to run git from it on
windows (yeah, yeah ... it isn't my choice ...).
However, here is the result of my attempt:
addpath c:/Program\ Files/Git/bin/
which git
which: no git in (C:\GetGnuWin32\gnuwin32\bin; ...)
Any ideas? I assume this works fine on a real operating system.
Also -- aliasing doesn't work: "> git" works ok, but "> git status" (and
similar) seems to be aliased plain old "git", which obviously doesn't work...
Tx

Yep, on Mac OS X from the terminal it seems to work like a charm...
Grr, ... I will try to become a smarter person with aliasing paramaters ($1 etc)
and see if I can get it to function correctly
