For example, I don't think there's such a thing, although it'd be easy to add given the current non-copying GC. On another hand, I'm wondering what you want it for. The only use I know of for such a feature is to implement a hash-table with a cheap hash function, but obviously, that's not your goal since that is already provided. Stefan
