Hello,

with Transient Mark mode enabled, C-<SPC> C-<SPC> sets the mark and
pushes it
onto the mark ring. With Transient Mark mode disabled, the same key
sequence
enables Transient Mark mode temporarily, thus making the former
functionality
unavailable.

How do you set the mark and push it onto the mark ring with
Transient Mark mode disabled?

Thanks.

AFAIK C-SPC C-SPC does that (the first C-SPC sets the mark and pushes it
onto the mark ring and the second doesn't undo that, it only
additionally enables TMM temporarily).
But maybe there's something I'm missing.
