Subject: writing emacs display attributes to .Xresources
Date: Wed, 20 May 2009 16:20:59 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <gv13kc$2ru$5@news.eternal-september.org> (raw)

I have loaded color-theme-x which I downloaded from the wiki

http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/ColorTheme#toc20

But it (color-theme-x) just displays a buffer saying something like:

,----
| ! X resources for color-theme-classic
| ! Generated by ctresource 2009-05-20 16:18:13 shamrock
`----

ie no x resource settings in it.

and there is nothing in my .Xresources or .Xdefaults.

I am using Emacs 23. I had used this successfully some time back with
emacs 22.

Has anyone else tried and failed?

regards

r.
