Hi All,
whenever I startup my emacs first thing I do is resize the window to my taste.
Probably I can save the last window position and size. Can anybody give me a hint on this subject?
Thanks Andreas

Sorry, found it myself. In my case (Emacs on Windows) I can provide a start parameter
runemacs.exe -geometry 132x63+20+20
where obviously 132x63 is measured in characters while +20+20 denotes the upper left corner in pixel.

You could also use initial-frame-alist and default-frame-alist in
your init file ...

Or the geometry X resource (via the Windows registry, for the OP).
