I've installed the Sanskrit input method and it seems to work really well. = With a little effort it's now exactly like my Ibus input method. A few aske= d why I didn't like the key bindings I was using (e.g., C-c a, C-c i) and s= o on. It's because it's difficult to type and leads after some time I find = my hand cramps. The "double-tapping" solution involves less awkward hand po= stures. Does anyone here know why the Ibus input method doesn't work with Emacs? I = used Emacs for a period a few years back and I remember that it did work at= that point. I've tried various fixes (e.g., using the Ibus input method) b= ut I couldn't get it to work. I know that neither 23 nor 24 work with Ibus = by default. I asked the question on another emacs forum but got no response= s. Mike
