Hi,
I'm using Emacs23 under win32. LANG is ENU. When i type ae(?), oe(?), ss(?)
or some other Umlauts with german keyboard, these letters doesn't display on
the main buffer but in minibuffer waiting for some following type. So i have
to type a Space and then delete the Space. It seems these Umlauts are some
prefix commands.
But under Linux, it behaves exactly the way as expected.
Is that because windows translates the key sequences another way than unix?
Plus, i can't also type C-@ under windows since using German keyboard i have
to type Strg-AltGr-q, and windows won't send this key sequence.
BTW, emacs under win32 doesn't display "Gr¨¹?" correctly. If there are 2
continued chars larger than 0x80, they can't be displayed correctly under
windows.
any ideas?
Best regards,
Qichen
