well, usually C-x C-c is bound to save-buffers-kill-emacs so what do
you expect. Why don't you just kill the buffer of woman?

Use the help facilities to learn about emacs: maybe start with M-x
help, and then check what ?, b, c, a

To close a WoMan buffer hit `k', to just hide it, hit `q'

This is normal behavior. i.e.

,----[ C-h k control x control c ]
| control x control c runs the command save-buffers-kill-emacs
| which is an interactive compiled Lisp function in `files.el'.
| It is bound to control x control c , <menu-bar> <file> <exit-emacs> .
| (save-buffers-kill-emacs &optional ARG)
|
| Offer to save each buffer, then kill this Emacs process.
| With prefix arg, silently save all file-visiting buffers, then kill.
|
| [back]
`----

To quit woman, try just 'q'
