Hello,

is there a way to specify a TeX encoding for emacs: you type diacritical
letter and emacs save this automatically as TeX command). There is well
a iso-iso2tex command, but I'm looking for something that work
transparently, just as an ordinary encoding. I would prefer this method
as using the package inputenc on laTeX, since it would give really
portable source code (that will be editable in any editor); and moreover
this solution would be much easier if you use plain TeX.
