There you will fi= nd: =E2=80=9CIf COMMAND ends in =E2=80=98&=E2=80=99, execute it asynchronously= . The output appears in the buffer =E2=80=98*Async Shell Command*=E2=80=99. That buffer= is in shell mode. You can also use =E2=80=98async-shell-command=E2=80=99 that automatically adds =E2=80=98&=E2=80=99.=E2=80=9D --=20 Felix Dietrich
