Hi!
I have the following problem with auctex:
If I define a new command, for example
\newcommand{\test}[1][default]{#1}
and I press C-c C-m \test
auctex inserts
\test{}
But I want that auctex inserts
\test[]
to get the correct parenthesis for optional arguments.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
nic

Problem solved, sorry forget the question.
I overlooked that auctex promts for an optional argument. ;-)
