I understand that rms and friends are still working
on verifying and/or fixing things screwed-up
by the break-in.
Anyone got a pre-breakin 21.3.tar.gz stored somewhere
available to all of us?
Thanks!
David
PS: (or newer than 21.3, I guess, if such exists?)

You could check out 21.3 from CVS:
cvs -d:pserver:anoncvs@subversions.gnu.org:/cvsroot/emacs login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anoncvs@subversions.gnu.org:/cvsroot/emacs -t EMACS_21_3 checkout emacs
Lute.

Does anyone know why the ftp site doesn't just do that?
Billy

I just asked on emacs-devel. Let's see what happens...
Lute.

If finding an unhacked 21.3 was that simple, I think the FSF would
have done so already. The problem is that a GNU server was hacked
several months before it was detected, so software released in those
months cannot be guaranteed to be unhacked.
