Subject: colors in emacs terminal mode
Date: 3 Oct 2002 11:40:26 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bf428a2f.0210031040.62320970@posting.google.com> (raw)
For some reason google is not allowing me to post a follow up to
Luis's message from eons ago.
In any case I tried setting TERM to `xterm-color', the exact sequence
of cmds I tried was
setenv TERMINFO ./
tic xterm-color.tic
setenv TERM xterm-color
but it made no difference. The motivation for using terminal mode
emacs is that
emacs over ssh/vpn/remote-xserver is *unuseable*.
