I don't care about M$-Word but I want someone to consider Emacs
that loves M$-Word.

Is there an Emacs mode that makes it behave like M$-Word
to some extent?

Chris

In Emacs 21 there is `cua-mode', which simulates MS style keybindings.

I found that the CVS version of Emacs can sometimes crash when
compiled with the GTK GUI; but just a few days ago, a memory
allocation bug was fixed, so you may be out of luck. I have not had a
crash since then.

One important point of using CVS is that it keeps the historical
versions. With a suitable -D flag on checkout, you can retrieve the
crashy version again! :)
