* Python debugger: How avoid having to do 2 "step" commands to load file to debug???

When you get pdb started in Emacs on a file,
you must do about 2 steps
(step is a pdb/gdb command) before you can do the "list" command
and see the file to debug.

How avoid having to do "step" command twice??
