I have happily been using C-x to invoke a new function I set up in .emacs.

gdb and pdb (debuggers) commands are the first ones that have conflicted
with my C-x redefinition. Is it possible to fix this and not have to omit my
C-x handy-work when I run gdb and/or pdb commands???

Chris
