Subject: Can not get 21.3 in window mode
Date: Mon, 16 Jun 2003 10:42:13 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bcjvpi$1bf5$1@gwdu112.gwdg.de> (raw)
Hi,
I downloaded and compiled and installed Emacs 21.3 under SuSE Linux 8.0.
Everything went fine, except that starting emacs from the commandline
results in the no window (-nw) mode by default.
Compilation was done with x support on. However, I could not get further.
What do I need to do (or where can I look up what to do) to start emacs
in the X mode by default?
Thanks.
