after using ediff i get the following errors after hitting "y" to
confirm "Quit this Ediff Session":

  $\207" [ediff-buffer-A ask keep-variants ediff-buffer-B ediff-merge-

A B Ancestor ...] 5 ("/usr/local/share/emacs/23.0.92/lisp/ediff-
util.elc" . 72818)], 0

i'm using emacs23 from cvs, but same behavior in emacs22. any
suggestions how to solve this?
