But that's a different point. I'm not familiar with workgroups2, but "managing multiple groups of [Emacs] windows" is not "most of what this thread is seeking from frames." IOW, so far, it sounds like workgroups2 might be an argument *not* to use Emacs windows instead of frames. But so far, it does not sound like an argument for using workgroups2 (or using Emacs windows) instead of frames.
