Subject: global-set-key in text-mode
Date: Wed, 20 Feb 2008 08:53:35 -0800 (PST) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <ade201d9-cf94-4dd9-b6e3-28715d254ffd@i12g2000prf.googlegroups.com> (raw)
I have the following key binding in my .emacs file
(global-set-key "\M-s" 'save-buffer)
and it works in most major modes, but not in text-mode. Can anyone
explain to me why this is and/or teach me how to make it work there.
Thanks,
Ethan
