Subject: Where to get Emacs for Windows?
Date: Mon, 19 Jan 2004 09:40:36 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <Pine.GSO.4.21.0401190926180.5060-100000@sun.rhul.ac.uk> (raw)
Looking in the obvious place:
ftp.gnu.org
the various readme files point to non-existent locations.
Eventually I found
ftp.gnu.org/gnu/windows/emacs
and the latest version that actually exists is 19.34 which
must be some years old by now. The directories like 21.3
contain lots of files with names like
<something> back-RSN
but dated last August. I tried 2 or 3 mirrors with similar
results. Please are there download sites with anything more
recent than 19.34? Thank you.
