For instance, modify `like` with `lk`, and `there` with `tr`.=C2=A0 But be = able to revert back to the original.=C2=A0 Perhaps something similar to `pr= ettify-symbols-mode` for tex and latex language.=C2=A0 As far as I am aware= `prettify-symbols-mode` can only handle a single glyph replacement rather = than multiple characters required for stenographic replacement.=C2=A0 Conve= rsely, going back to the original tex commands, am bit unsure whether `pret= tify-symbols-mode` remembers the original text or simply does another repla= cement from the glyph.
