Can anybody recommend me a mode or some way to integrate a thumbnail
viewer into emacs' directory-mode? I am using emacs for almost all my
work except of viewing photos (up to now). Any help greatly appreciated.
I'm not sure what you mean.
For thumbnail images, see http://www.emacswiki.org/cgi-bin/wiki/ThumbsMode.
For thumbnail frames, including Dired or any other buffers, see

Drew
