Subject: Org-mode and Org-agenda-mode font ligatures
Date: Sun, 10 Nov 2024 06:07:23 +0900 [thread overview]

Hello, I’m new to this list, so apologies if I don’t know the etiquette.
Is it possible to enable font ligatures in org-mode and org-agenda mode?
In every other mode that I use, “->” will create a right arrow, but in org-mode and org-agenda-mode the hyphen and more-than sign remain as two separate characters. Is it possible to configure org and agenda to behave the same as other modes in this regard?
I’ve looked around for information on this matter. It seems people use ligatures typically for font icons and such, but I can’t find any information about simply configuring org and agenda to use the typical font ligatures like in every other mode.
Thanks,
Micah
