Hello!

 

Have installed emacs using the source code on Debian machine.  The install went smoothly, however, when I try and run = emacs I get the following error:

Emacs: Cannot open termcap database = file.

 

I googled for a solution, but could not find anything useful.  I installed ncurses from source = too.

 

Please advise.
