Would it be possible to more actively moderate gnu-emacs-sources or do
something else to reduce the percentage of messages that are spam?

g.e.bug is also oddly infested with spam. It isn't a serious
nuisance, because there is so little on it altogether, but it makes me
wonder how the other gnuish ngs manage to be free of it.
