For personal use, I could probably just override =E2=80=98forward-word=E2= =80=99 with advice. =E2=80=98backward-word=E2=80=99 and =E2=80=98kill-word=E2=80=99 are= implemented in terms of =E2=80=98forward-word=E2=80=99; =E2=80=98left-word=E2=80=99 and =E2=80=98ri= ght-word=E2=80=99 are implemented in terms of =E2=80=98forward-word=E2=80=99 and =E2=80=98backward-word=E2=80=99; and = =E2=80=98backward-kill-word=E2=80=99 is implemented in terms of =E2=80=98kill-word=E2=80=99; so everything would ju= st follow suit. However, I=E2=80=99m a bit wary about making =E2=80=98forward-word=E2=80=99= follow that definition. I have literally no idea how many things will change behavior if I redefine =E2=80=9Cword=E2=80=9D to mean something more like = =E2=80=9Ctoken=E2=80=9D. For one, =E2=80=98transpose-words=E2=80=99 would then behave like this: foo *** +++ (|bar) foo *** +++ bar(|) For some people, this will make sense. For some, probably not.
