Is there any way to open emacs passing a file as an argument and the file
buffer occupies the entire screen? Thanks

In fact, you can simply type *emacs xxx* in your terminal, and then
emacs will open the file named "xxx".
For the other question, you can make your emacs full-screen, of
course. If you use the version of 24.4, you can do that by presssing
f11.
