It looks like the current request.el uses cl-function already. function* is an alias for =E2=80=98cl-function=E2=80=99 in =E2=80=98cl.el= =E2=80=99. (function* FUNC) Introduce a function. Like normal =E2=80=98function=E2=80=99, except that if argument is a lambda= form, its argument list allows full Common Lisp conventions.
