After hitting `C-h s RET', I scroll mouse to look thorough the current
syntax table. But this will freeze Emacs soon, and Emacs will lose
response to user.
Any hints for this problem?

The contents of the syntax table depend on the current buffer. Do you
have some steps to reproduce the problem starting from "emacs -Q"?

Emacs is maybe only busy rendering some fonts, does it unfreze after
some seconds?
On my side it becomes busy, but it finished in some seconds.

It needs several minutes on my side, presumably caused by the huge
number of fonts installed on my machine:
werner@X10DAi-00:~$ fc-list |wc
