Got it. I must activate eev it first as follows:

(use-package eev
  :straight (:host github :repo "edrx/eev")
  :config
  (eev-beginner)
  )

Then, when I hit `M-x fea RET' in the scratch buffer, I get a lot of
garbage code as shown in the screenshot attached here.
