I am using Windows XP laptop with the Emacs 21.2. I try to run the M-x
shell command to open a shell buffer, but I get an error something like
'Child Process: invalid parameter'. Any ideas why that may be
occurring.
Although I have it running on my desktop-2000 machine, we have
encountered the same problem on a laptop 2000 machine.
Thanks
Linda
