Not tested:

(add-hook 'perl-mode-hook
          (lambda ()
            (set (make-local-variable 'compile-command)
                 (concat "perl -w " (buffer-file-name)))))

Anyway i doub't that the compile mode will recognize the
perl errors and warnings.
