I'm not a Chicken developer, nor an ECL developer, nor was I
"advertising" anything.  I simply mentioned Chicken as a somewhat
parallel C translation project for Scheme.

As for "pertinent references to key useful papers," that's outside my
competency.  Perhaps you could do the homework.
