Is it a bug that end-of-defun is not documented to return non-nil on
success but beginning-of-defun is documented to return non-nil on
success?

BTW why beginning-of-defun returns t instead of position?

I think you are right. One should maybe subscribe there, it's just such
high volumes...;/
