Subject: C-M-x error message: lisp-eval-defun: Process lisp does not exist

Hi
is it only me that this happens lately? Since the last weeks CVS ,or
so, I can't use C-M-x any longer. I even downloaded today the fresh
CVS tree, to no avail, I'm always getting this "Process lisp does not
exist". Otherwise Emacs seems to work OK (C-M-e, C-x C-e).
